Are you an experienced Project Controller with a passion and drive for developing reporting systems and tools in large projects? Are you outgoing and enjoy engaging with multiple levels of stakeholders in a project organization, but at the same time passionate about your Excel sheets and the accuracy in reporting? Do you have a minimum of 4-6 years of project controlling experience preferably within the pharmaceutical industry? If so, Aptio Group wants to meet you!
Aptio Group Denmark is currently looking for a project controller to support one of our larger customers in the greater Copenhagen area.
You will work as a consultant to our customer, typically as a fully integrated part of the customer’s project organization for the duration of the project. When your project assignment is about to end, we strive to involve you in a new project that enables you to further grow your competency and build on your experience from the past project. This is also how we provide the best value to our customers.
Main responsibilities
As a Project Controller you will:
- Be a vital part of the project team and help set the guidelines for financial controlling of the project, both for cost tracking and reporting purposes
- Handle cost controlling on all financial aspects of the project including (but not limited to) construction- procurement- and engineering cost
- Be the financial partner to the project manager in the project linking project execution and financial follow-up
- Engage with and challenge stakeholders on various levels of the project to ensure validity of budgets and forecasts
- Various analysis- and adhoc tasks within cost controlling
In this position, some work-related travelling can be expected but it will be at a minimum.
Your qualifications
- You have minimum 4-6 years of experience with project controlling preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- You have experience in controlling larger projects in the construction phase
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel including the ability to work with large data sets
- You have a high personal drive and enjoy engaging with multiple stakeholders in a project organization
- You possess excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
- You speak and write English fluently
